We go above and beyond local requirements by utilizing international knowledge and materials. At minimum we follow the United States Secretary of the Interiors’ preservation briefs. While masonry may appear to stay still, the international community is evolving with new and innovative approaches to masonry conservation, preservation and restoration. It is in our and the clients interest to be constantly on top of these approaches to provide the highest quality project. We are a part of many national and international organizations dedicated to traditional trades and advanced restoration solutions.

Fundamentally we understand that water in all its forms is the primary force affecting the deterioration of masonry. Our approach is to work with water using traditional methods and materials where possible and not introduce modern materials that would cause water in its many forms to become trapped and accelerate decay.
